Challenge

ZRG approached us looking for more than just an upgrade, they needed a transformation. Their existing tool for participant cultural assessment had served its purpose but was now outdated, cumbersome, unable to meet the needs of an evolving workforce and growing customer base. With a clunky interface, limited and slow adaptability, the tool struggled to deliver value to admins, clients, and participants. Creating reports was laborious and slow.

The challenge was clear: how could we breathe life into a stagnant product, turning it into an intuitive, scalable, and impactful platform that inspired trust and confidence at every level?

What we did

Through discovery sessions with diverse stakeholders, we unpacked the layers of this challenge. This wasn’t just a tool for delivering data - it was about enabling organisations to shape their cultures intentionally and confidently.

Our approach prioritised simplicity and scalability:

  • Designing for usability: The platform needed to feel intuitive, whether you were an admin creating reports or a participant taking assessments.
  • Preparing for evolution: The system had to be robust enough to grow with ZRG’s future needs

Midway through development, the requirements shifted—a common occurrence in ambitious projects. The shift toward a self-serve model introduced new complexities, but instead of resisting, we leaned in. We revisited the core goals and adapted our roadmap to ensure the pivot aligned with ZRG’s vision.

Every step, from algorithm adjustments to interface decisions, was guided by one principle: would this change make the experience better for the user?
